INNER LID LABELS (I), average size: 6”x 9”, The inner label was put on the inside lid of the cigar box. This is the most collected label as it was used to attract attention to the cigars.
OUTER LABELS (O) average size 4 1/2” X 4 1/2“, Any label placed on the outside of the cigar box. Most labels sold from our web site are outer, or outside labels which were affixed on the side of the box and sealed the lid.
TOP SHEET/FLAP (TS) average size 5” x 8”. The top sheet is a label-like piece of paper placed on the top of the cigars to protect the cigars and keep the cigars from staining the label. The theme of the top sheet is usually the same as the inner label, less ornate and has fewer details.
